Powder Coating is a fast, cost effective, solvent & VOC free alternative to traditional wet spray paints.

Radleigh-Nash have one of the largest powder coating ovens in the area. At 9 metres long, 5 metres wide, 2.8 metres high oven easily can handle most large fabrications with ease or any high unit volume requirements you may have. Generally, we limit ourselves to 3 tonnes in the oven from a practical heating point of view, we are more than happy to discuss any enquiry have not matter how challenging.

While powder coating does come in a range of finishes, gloss levels & textures, its most well-known for is shiny full gloss systems, the electrostatic application gives even coatings of the powder and during the curing process this powder melts and fuses together to form a uniform shiny surface. Once cooled this now uniformly bonded surface is resistant to chipping, scratching and general wear and tear.

Most powders, being predominately plastic based hold their colours very well in all conditions, this makes it ideal for bright and bold colour choices where paints might fade over time. The range of colours available in powder is also much wider, and being generally a thicker film thickness than most commercial cosmetic paint top coats, gives a deeper richer look to the eye. They are also solvent free and Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) free so are regarded as being better for the environment over traditional solvent based paints.

Powder Coating

The processing time for powder is greatly reduced over conventional paint as there is no curing or drying time other than a short bake in the oven. Once they have cooled the curing process is complete and the product can be handled and shipped immediately if required. This fast turn around can be a real benefit when the pressure is on to meet deliveries.

While we excel at projects that are to big for most others, we are happy to look at any enquiry big or small.
